How to set up employee attendance tracking

Lobbytrack makes it easy to track employee attendance at your facility so you always know who is on-site. In case of emergency, your staff can quickly pull up a report of who is on-site, ensure they are safe, and sign them out.

Employees can easily sign in and out using the Lobbytrack Lobby App on a tablet in your lobby or on their phone with the Lobbytrack Employee app.

Turn on the employee health screening form option to require that employees are healthy before allowing them to sign in for the day.

This tutorial will walk you through the necessary steps to set up and use employee attendance tracking.

Step 1: Add employees to Lobbytrack

  1. Click on "Settings" in the top right corner.

  2. Click on "Employees" and then on the + Icon to add your employees to the system.

Step 2: Enable employee attendance tracking

  1. Once you have addeded all of your employees, click on "Settings" and go to the "Employee Sign In / Out" tab.

  2. You will see three methods of allowing employees to sign in / out. Click the checkbox to enable each method.

Step 3: Configure Lobbytrack Lobby App for employee attendance tracking

  1. Go to the Lobbytrack Lobby App on your tablet, tap the menu icon in the top left corner and select "Settings".

  2. Enter your log in credentials to access the device settings. Then tap on the first option, "Usage Mode".

  3. Scroll down and select "Employee Attendance Station".

  4. The app will then display a QR code and other sign in options based on the settings you enabled in the web app.

Step 4: Sign in using employee app

Employees can use the Lobbytrack Employee App on their phone to sign in / out.

  1. The employee will install the Lobbytrack Employee App on their phone from their app store. When they start the app, they will be asked to enter their work email and activate their account.

  2. Once they are logged in, they will just have to tap the Sign In option on their phone and scan the QR code displayed on the tablet.

Step 5: Sign in using employee badge

Employees can scan the QR code on their employee badge to sign in / out.

  1. Print badges for each employee on lobbytrack.com in "Settings > Employees".

  2. Click on the Ellipsis (…) under the actions column, next to the name of the employee.

  3. Click on "Print Badge" from the drop-down menu that appears.

  4. This will take you to a print preview screen. Click on the printer icon at the top right corner to print the badge.

  5. Once employees have their badges, you can allow them to use the QR code on the badge to sign in / out.

  6. In the Lobbytrack Lobby App, tap the "Scan your badge to sign in / out" option.

  7. The QR code scanner on the tablet will display and prompt the employee to scan their badge.

Step 6: Sign in using record lookup

Employees can lookup their record to sign in / out.

  1. In the Lobbytrack Lobby App, tap the "Lookup your record to sign in / out" option.

  2. Enter the employee's name to locate their record and sign in / out.
